Czech Demo is a program designed around main tech events for start-up companies that want to expand their business activities out of the Czech Republic or to increase their chance of finding business partners or investors. Czech Match is all about meetings with potential investors and business partners: finding the right people to meet with, but also helping the start-ups prepare for presentations and meetings. This program was a combination of both, and as such, it gave participating startups the opportunity to venture around NYC to connect to top influencers and investors as well as attend Tech Day, the biggest tech event in the US.

Sharry Europe is a PropTech developer of innovative software for premium office buildings. They create mobile apps and content for digital signage and specialize in the integration of smart solutions such as smart parking spaces or shared services. We spend one third of our productive lives in an office. Sharry’s goal is to bring innovations and new technology to this environment. They believe that modern buildings should speak and support local sharing and help their clients implement that vision.
CzechInvest promotes the Czech Republic abroad as a suitable destination for investments. It is the exclusive organisation that may submit applications for investment incentives to the governing bodies. The agency also supports Czech firms that are interested in becoming involved in the supply chains of multinational companies.
Through its services and development programmes, CzechInvest contributes to the development of domestic firms, Czech and foreign investors and the business environment as a whole.
Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York and its Trade and Economy Section provide assistance for Czech companies interested in entering the US market in the North-East part of the country, focusing mainly of the B2G relations. In cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in DC, the Consulate participates in policy making of trade and economic bilateral relations between the two countries as well.

We run multiple programs a year on behalf of CzechInvest, accelerating Czech startups at different maturity stages, but all willing to expand to the US market.

Our dense two-week program was able to provide the startups with not only core business knowledge, such as how to communicate your brand and product as well as fundamentals in fundraising but also with introductions to key players in the tech ecosystem in NYC – whether they are successful entrepreneurs or investors.

Tech day
The participants of the Czech Demo track of the Program participated in TechDay NY – which is the largest startup event in the U.S. The 7 Czech Demo Startups all had a booth at TechDay NY and met with leading accelerator programs, seasoned investors, and tons of larger tech brands.
The Pitch Night
The pitch night is always by far the highlight of our programs. It is a night filled with great presentations from startups, networking, and refreshments. The startups have 2 minutes to pitch their company which then follows insights from an all-star panel of investors.
