He has litigated cases in state and federal courts in 27 states, has acted as defense liaison counsel for branded pharmaceutical companies, and serves as national coordinating, regional and local counsel.
His experience extends to a wide range of industries and products including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, medical devices, consumer products, industrial machinery, construction equipment, automobiles and asbestos. Top clients include Terex Corporation, Forest Laboratories, Crawford and Company, ABB, Motorola Solutions and Union Pacific Railroad.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Meyer has a deep understanding of product development and the regulatory agencies that supervise U.S. companies. Parth is a Senior Associate at NYP Ventures responsible for supporting New York-Presbyterian's venture investment fund, conducting diligence on potential investments, building strategic partnerships and supporting the hospital's IP portfolio. Prior to joining NYP Ventures, Parth was a health care strategy consultant at Deloitte Consulting developing corporate growth strategies and advising mergers & acquisitions for leading providers, payers and technology companies. Prior to Deloitte, Parth was a health policy analyst for the state of Massachusetts. In this role, he primarily worked with the Patrick administration to manage reform of the pharmaceutical compounding industry, authoring legislation signed into law by Governor Deval Patrick and used by the FDA to model national regulations. Parth earned his B.S. in Biology from Boston College, M.S. in Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine and MPH in Health Management from Boston University School of Public Health.
