Mat is an NYC-based Associate at Rubicon Venture Capital, an early stage VC fund with offices in San Francisco and New York City. Rubicon focuses on backing software, internet, and consumer companies at the Late Seed, Series A and B stages. At Rubicon, Mat focuses on sourcing and evaluating early-stage companies, conducts diligence on potential investments, supports Rubicon’s portfolio companies and corporate engagement efforts. Mat has a particular interest in esports/gaming, Machine Learning, Enterprise SaaS and Fintech sectors.

Prior to joining Rubicon, Mat was an Investment Banking Analyst in the TMT Group at Cowen and Company. Prior to Cowen, Mat interned in Sales at Barclays and WePay, a fintech startup in Palo Alto.

Mat graduated from Boston College, cum laude, with a BS degree in Finance and a minor in International Studies for Management with a focus on Eastern Europe.

Ece focuses on investments in application software and business services companies in venture and growth stages. Prior to joining Bain Capital Ventures, Ece worked at BlackRock, where she focused on developing and executing exposure management and trading strategy solutions for large institutional clients. Ece graduated from Harvard College with a B.A. in Economics and a secondary concentration in Government. She also held positions at Google, where she worked on market expansion and sales strategy, and in Morgan Stanley’s Capital Markets group.

With a background in equity research, Dan is currently focused on venture capital LP opportunities as well as direct investments from seed through series B.
