VentureOut is proud to host our 18th German tech program and our 16th in partnership with the German American Chamber of Commerce in New York (GACCNY).
STEP stands for the Startup Entrepreneurship Program, featuring Germany's hottest tech startups in New York City. These startups represent the awesomeness of the German tech ecosystem. In this program, these startups will learn how to launch and raise capital in the U.S. and get connected with some of the top tech influencers and investors in NYC.

Breakfast & Orientation

Rise and shine! Our German Accelerator will kick off with a orientation breakfast with Dietmar M. Rieg.
Fundamentals of Scaling

Meet with some of NYC’s leading tech mentors, serial entrepreneurs, investors and operators that advise some of the top tech companies in the US. This session will focus on reviewing your pitch deck to make sure you are prepared for our investor pitch night.

Investor Pitch Night

This is the big night (and it’s open bar)! Our pitch event begins at 5pm with private investor speed dating, allowing each startup 5 minutes one on one with each member of the investor panel. At 6pm, our audience begins to arrive and at 6:30 we kick off the event and each company will pitch for 2 minutes, get feedback from the panel until everyone is done and we go back to drinking and networking. Make sure to bring your A-game!
Final Presentations

This is the final workshop of the program. We ask every company to crystallize the takeaways from the program that they will be applying to their business going forward…what did you learn and what are you going to do with it? Then, everyone else in the program provides that founder constructive feedback on their performance throughout the week and how they can improve going forward. This is often rated the most valuable session in our program.

We conclude the program with exit interviews, getting candid feedback from each company on their experience in the program and to discuss next steps and how VENTUREOUT can continue to support the company beyond the program.
