ORIENTATION & AGENDA OVERVIEW

INTRODUCTION

Session 1
Welcome to VentureOut! Our kick-off session, run by VentureOut's Program Director, Fay Louise, includes an overview of the program and speakers, tips and tricks on how to take leverage the most out of the program. Each company has an opportunity for a quick introduction (the first of many) and to ask any questions.

This is an interactive messaging workshop that helps companies understand how to craft and deliver messaging that emotionally engages their audience. This is perfect prep for the back to back pitches they’ll be doing throughout the program. Buckle up!

Our sales workshop is focused on the strategies employed by leading tech companies to scale sales through a replicable sales process. Learn best practices in SDR strategies, account-based selling, leading enterprise sales tools and how to build a sales organization that is ready to scale.

We are so excited to invite our amazing mentor Sky Rolnick Co-founder at Jump Into The Light. Jump into the Light is America's first Virtual Reality Cinema and Playlab (https://jumpintothelight.com). They are located in Lower East Side Manhattan. Besides running a successful arcade open to the public, they also focus on education and healthcare initiatives as well. Jump into the Light has a small team of developers working on creating custom content and are beginning to attract big-name cooperate clients for our work.

We are excited to hear from Bonny Morlak, CEO and Founder of Tiltsta. Tiltsta is a plugin for e-commerce sites to create mobile shoppable videos. Consumers shop without leaving their favorite social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, etc. Tiltsta is a VentureOut alumnus. Following the program, Bonny decided to establish his startup in the US and moved to NYC from Australia.

We can't wait to hear from Jan Lucanus! Jan is the founder of Reelwurld, the social-filmmaking technology company that is reimagining every phase of the production process to integrate the audience. He has unique insights into the creative and logistical processes involved with bringing products (whether people or things) to market, making a cultural impact, and identifying the subtle pain points between talent, executives, and stakeholders that can hinder innovation.

The big night! We will start with an Investor round-robin at 5:00 pm and then will pitch our awesome audience with feedback from the investor panel at 6:30 pm. Afterward, there will be an opportunity to discuss ideas and network over drinks and appetizers!

RLab and Super Ventures have teamed up to create the RLab Accelerator leveraging their combined resources and expertise in XR to help startups navigate growth in the emerging ecosystem. They are searching for the best early-stage augmented reality and virtual reality startups from every corner of the globe to join us at RLab, NYC’s new hub for spatial computing.

FINAL PRESENTATIONS & EXIT INTERVIEWS

Session 1
This is the final workshop of the program. We ask every company to crystallize the takeaways from the program that they will be applying to their business going forward…what did you learn and what are you going to do with it? Then, everyone else in the program gives you feedback on how you performed during the program. We conclude the program with exit interviews, getting candid feedback from each company on their experience in the program and discuss the next steps and how VentureOut can continue to support the company beyond the program.

We will visit the Googe office with Matthieu Lorrain. Matthieu Lorrain is an NYC-based creative leader specialized in brand innovation and creative technology. For the last 10 years, He has been incubating interactive experiences that connect brands and users in unique ways.
